September 10 2010 Boardwalk Bed Race, Third
Annual "Seaside Heights Bed Race" takes
place Friday, September 10th, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
The racing course will be from Hamilton Avenue
to Lincoln Avenue along the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the following placed
teams: First Place is $500, second place is $300
and third place is $200. A prize will be awarded
for the best-dressed team. Also, as an incentive,
the first place team will also receive a check
for $1,000 payable to a charity of their choice.
(Must be a non-profit).
(NOTE: Area businesses can compete -- Please call
the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District
Office at 732-854-8000 to request an application.
There are spaces for 32 teams to compete, businesses
may enter as many teams as they like. Each team
will pay an entrance fee of $100. Cash or checks
are accepted; make checks payable to the Seaside
Heights BID.)

September 12 31st Annual Antique Car Show
Join the Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County
as they present their 31st Annual Car Show on
Sunday, September 12th from 9am to 3pm on Bay
Boulevard. Registration is between 8am to 11am.

- Seaside Heights will be holding it's annual
"Seafood in Seaside" Festival and Craft
Show on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 10:00
a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Grant Avenue in Seaside Heights.
September 18, 19 Clownfest - Clowns roam the Boardwalk
and compete for honors. Fun activities for kids.
Clown parade on Sunday, Sept. 19, at 2pm.
September 24, 25, 26 Que by the Sea The Second Annual
Barbeque State Championship in Seaside Heights,
sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society,
will take place on Grant Avenue on September 24,
25, and 26, 2010. Friday, from 5:00 to 10:00 pm;
Saturday, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm; Sunday, from
10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
October 2 FISH Weekend, on Saturday, October
2nd. Children's fishing tournament on oceanfront
from 10am to 2pm. Registration begins at 9am at
the Franklin Avenue Stage. Register in 2 age groups;
12 and under age group , or the 13 thru 16 age
group. Bait provided for all participants. Sponsored
by the Seaside Heights Fishing Club and the Seaside
Heights Business Improvement District.
October 8, 9, and 10 Italian Street Festival & Columbus
Day Parade
Seaside Heights will host the 19th Annual Columbus
Day Parade and Italian Street Festival held on
October 8th, 9th, and 10th, on Grant Avenue in
Seaside Heights. The Festival will run on Friday,
October 8th from 4pm to 10pm, Saturday, October
9th from 10am to 10pm, and Sunday, October 10th
from 10am to 8pm. On Sunday, October 10th, the
parade will march down the Boulevard at 1:00pm.

Oct 17 Seaside Half Marathon and 5k Race,
Spicy's, Sumner Ave. & Boardwalk. 10 am. Flat
and fast, out and back on the boardwalk and into
Island Beach State Park. Ocean and park views.

April 4. Easter Sunday will feature the traditional
flower giveaway by the Seaside Heights Mayor &

Easter Outfit Contest for cash money prizes at
1 p.m. (pre-registration starts at 11am outside
the Webster Ave Info Center) Also, beginning at
11am, the Easter Bunny will be handing out raffle
tickets, which can put you in the running to win
one of 10 new bicyles.

Third Annual Seaside Music Festival will rock
the Jersey shore May 20th-22nd at bars, clubs,

to Start Summer Sooner in Seaside with live performances
and special events.

June 19 Arts & Crafts by the Sea,
10am to 6pm on the oceanfront between Dupont and
Grant Aves, Seaside Heights. This annual event
features over 65 crafters and artists, ranging
from hand-made jewelery to home-made soy candles
and environmental, wearable art. Rain date Sunday,
June 13.
July 4 FIREWORKS, Sunday, July 4th,
2010 at 9:00 p.m. Oceanfront. Enjoy our spectacular
fireworks display sponsored by Coca-Cola.
